Daffodils are critter-resistant, so you don't have to worry about hungry deer, rabbits, or squirrels. Plant in masses along walkways and border edges where you can easily gather handfuls of cuttings to bring indoors. Daffodils make long-lasting cut flowers, just remember not to mingle them with other bulbs, as they speed up the fading of other flowers.
